Just look at how pitifully Beers turned out. He turned out as the second strongest being in the universe. At the topic though I'm not so sure that Vegeta could win. While he does have superior skill and training to GT Vegeta this is still both Vegeta and Goku. I'm giving the fight to Vegito due to have knowledge and techniques of Goku and Vegeta. But he also turned out to be one of the least skilled fighters in the entire series, we're talking about a person who is extremely slow to adapt (getting punched in the face three times by ssj Goku because his power didn't go down for some reason), who got outmaneuvered by Vegeta at more than a few points in their own fight despite the absurd power difference between them, heck even Whis hasn't had that many good showings, remember the time Vegeta grabbed him? He was surprised (albeit able to slip right out from it). I'm with Vegetto here, the goku half and the vegeta half should work well enough together to form a plan against just Vegeta, plus he's basically a more powerful permanent version of Gogeta.
